Balsamiq as mockup tool?

  1. Balsamiq is a great tool for non-interactive prototyping--to just mock up a series of designs before you build the actual interaction. Students and faculty members can get a free license to it by e-mailing the developer (there's also a free for everyone web version).

Balsamiq was listed as the top low/medium fidelity prototype tool in this review of 16 prototyping tools: (the link is also in the additional resources page on the course site).
